David G. Cook, Treasurer of the National Council of Property Taxation, is President and Founder of Appraisal Management Research Company (AMRC) based in Rochester, Indiana. Prior to creating AMRC, he led a national property tax consulting firm in business development. Prior to that, he was Area Manager for a mortgage-banking subsidiary of Citicorp where his Chicago area office led the Midwest Region in new loan volume and delinquency control. After incorporating AMRC in 1990, Mr. Cook has led AMRC to become a regional force in the property tax consulting industry. His certifications and licenses include Indiana Certified Tax Representative, Indiana Certified Assessor-Appraiser, Illinois and Indiana Real Estate Broker. Memberships and affiliations include Institute for Professionals in Taxation, International Association of Assessing Officers, and various state organizations. Mr. Cook earned his B.A from Miami University.
