Peter M. Smith, President of the National Council of Property Taxation is Senior Manager with the state tax- consulting group of PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P. specializing in property tax and based in the Los Angeles office. Mr. Smith previously served as Vice President and Managing Director for CB Richard Ellis, Los Angeles, creating the firm's Property Tax Services Division and expanding from one local office to five in three states. He also served as President of Debenham Tewson International in Los Angeles, responsible for U.S. operations and marketing for a global real estate advisor based in London, England. As Executive Vice President of Chesshire Gibson Fowler in Beverly Hills, California, Mr. Smith was responsible for promoting a full range of consulting services to international clients. Mr. Smith is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, London, England, Panel Member of the Association of American Arbitration and holds a California Department of Real Estate Brokers License. Mr. Smith earned his B.S. in Real Estate from West London University, London, England.
